Bo Kim, PhD
Congratulations to Bo Kim, PhD, an investigator with HSR’s Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research (CHOIR), who was recently elected Board President of the Society for Implementation Research Collaboration (SIRC)! Dr. Kim leads HSR’s QUERI partnered evaluation with the Homeless Programs Office and directs the evaluation core of HSR’s Behavioral Health QUERI, as well as the implementation core of Bridging the Care Continuum QUERI. With an academic background in systems science and engineering, Dr. Kim specializes in research that applies interdisciplinary methodologies to study the quality and implementation of healthcare and related services.
SIRC facilitates communication and collaboration among implementation research teams, researchers, and community providers to enhance the uptake and sustained use of evidence-based innovations. Dr. Kim will begin her role with SIRC in October of this year, working closely with SIRC’s board, committees, and workgroups to expand the society’s reach and initiatives to actively promote collaborative advancement of implementation research and practice.
