VA Health Services Researcher Brings Home Olympic Bronze Medal!

Natalie Dell, M.P.H., a Health Services Research and Development Service (HSR&D) project coordinator at the Bedford VA Medical Center, and her teammates earned an Olympic Bronze Medal in the Women's Quad Scull Olympic Final that was held on Wednesday, August 1. Ukraine won the Olympic gold medal with a time of 6:35.93; Germany won silver with a time of 6:38.09, and U.S.A. won the bronze with a time of 6:40.63. The U.S. team was in a dead-heat with Germany until the last 500 meters.

This was the 24th Olympic medal for the U.S.A. Natalie won the bronze medal along with her teammates Kara Kohler, Megan Kalmoe, and Adrianne Martielli. Everyone in VA is extremely proud of Natalie and her teammates!
