This portfolio addresses effective organization, analysis, management, and use of information in VA health care in support of clinical care, personal health management, public health, research, administration, and related policy. The purpose is to advance the use of health information and communications technology in patient care and clinical research, personal health management, public and population health, and translational science with the ultimate objective of improving veteran health.
