Abstract:

Patients with chronic pain and comorbid substance use disorder need more intensive interventions than usual care in order to attain clinically significant improvements in pain-related function. Morasco and colleagues developed a manual specifically designed to provide integrated treatment of substance use disorder and chronic pain in patients with hepatitis C.
