Description: The COVID-19 pandemic created sweeping changes in daily life across the world. A social network analysis was conducted in n = 233 Veterans to examine network size, trust, and dependency, from the period prior to the pandemic the winter of 2020-2021. Changes in needs, such as emergency services, food security, and education during the pandemic were also examined. The analysis will also examine the association between the social network on mental health and suicide risk, incorporating modifiable treatment factors. Overall, this information will provide more detail regarding which Veterans will be at risk for suicide in the COVID-19 pandemic recovery.
