Description: In October 2019, VA began national implementation of regionally-based telehealth “hubs”, called Clinical Resource Hubs or CRHs, to provide short-term staffing coverage for clinics, or “spokes”, with primary care, mental health, or specialty service staffing shortages. Little is known, however, about CRHs’ efforts to provide services to clinics needing assistance and adoption of CRH services by short-staffed clinics in the regions they serve. This presentation will focus on the early implementation experiences with identifying and working with “spoke” clinics from the perspectives of CRH leaders, primary care clinic leaders, and frontline CRH clinicians. In addition, we will present data on the impact during the early implementation period of CRH services on primary care workforce burnout. Target audience: Primary care researchers, frontline providers and staff, and leadership interested in Clinical Resource Hubs, primary care access, and workforce burnout
