Description: Past research studies have tended to exclude Veterans with suicidal thoughts, limiting the evidence base for suicide prevention. This Cyberseminar will discuss the importance of assessing suicide outcomes in research studies, present a framework with a case study for suicide assessment and risk management, and conclude with a practical application of risk assessment in the context of research. Intended audience: The intended audience is interested VHA researchers and research staff.
