Description: Abstract: HEART is a 7-week program that teaches primary care teams self-care skills including mindfulness, self-compassion, and finding one’s purpose on the healer’s journey. Originally designed to be delivered in person over 12 weeks, the program was redesigned to be delivered virtually and piloted in 4 primary care clinics in VISN 22. The evaluation included pre- and post-intervention assessment (via REDCap survey) of key measures, including the Freiburg Mindfulness Inventory, Brief-resilience scale, Self-Compassion scale, Perceived Stress Scale-4, AES questions on job satisfaction and turnover, abbreviated Maslach Burnout Inventory.
Target Audience: This presentation would interest clinicians, researchers, health system specialists and decision makers.
