DaVINCI DoD Source Data: Overview of MHS GENESIS

Description: This is the last of four Cyberseminars that focus on DaVINCI’s DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) and TRICARE claims data sources. This webinar will cover MHS GENESIS, the new DoD EHR, specifically it will focus on key fields, how clinical and administrative data are captured, and current data quality issues. After attending the webinar, attendees will be able to: • Describe PowerChart, PI-EDW, HealtheIntent, and how data flows from MHS GENESIS to the MHS Data Repository (MDR) and DaVINCI • Provide an overview of the Bulk Data Extracts provided by MHS GENESIS and future data transfers • Discuss key fields in MHS GENESIS and differences between CHCS/AHLTA and MHS GENESIS • Describe existing/known data quality issues and implications for OMOP Intended Audience: This Cyberseminar will be designed to provide advanced training, information and support for VINCI users as well as the larger HSR&D research community.
