Sanket Dhruva, MD, MHS, FACC, is a Staff Physician at the San Francisco VA Health Care System, Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCSF School of Medicine, and Affiliate Faculty at the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies. Dr. Dhruva completed his undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley and then his MD and internal medicine residency at UCSF. Dr. Dhruva's Health Services Research & Development Career Development Award focuses on better understanding the safety of cardiovascular implantable electronic device leads, with the goal of developing interventions that improve patient safety.
