Damschroder LJ, Waltz T, Powell B. Expert Recommendations for Tailoring Strategies to Context. VA QUERI Implementation Network [Cyberseminar]. VA QUERI. 2015 Nov 5.
The Expert Recommendations for Implementing Change (ERIC) project represents a series of studies that are intended to improve our ability to identify, select, and tailor implementation strategies to overcome contextual barriers. We describe a number of the ERIC studies, including 1) an effort to refine a published compilation of implementation strategies through expert consensus, 2) an attempt to develop expert consensus on the types of strategies needed to implement three different clinical innovations in settings that vary in terms of its readiness for implementation, and 3) a study designed to match the refined compilation of strategies to the constructs of the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research. Intended audience: researchers or practitioners interested in implementation and/or the science of implementation.
