Abstract:

Findings on the personal characteristics and VA retention rates of HSRandD CDA recipients will be presented and their productivity will be compared with that of NIH and AHRQ K awardees in health services research. Publication trajectories for the three groups will be highlighted. Ongoing work to examine the characteristics and quality of mentoring relationships, and the associations of those characteristics with CDA and mentor outcomes, also will be described. Intended Audience: Research leadership; CDA awardees, alumni, prospective candidates; and mentors.
