Washington DL, Ijadi-Maghsoodi R, Bruce L. Homelessness Among Women Veterans: An Overview (Part II). Women's Health Monthly Webinar [Cyberseminar]. The Office of Women's Health Services and the Veterans Health Administration Employee Education System. 2018 Aug 21.

Abstract:

Homelessness is on the rise among women Veterans, especially among those not engaged in VA care. Given the pronounced impact of homelessness on women's health, health care, and quality of life, it is critical to understand what puts women at risk for homelessness, the health and psychosocial needs of women Veterans experiencing homelessness, and strategies for preventing homelessness. This knowledge-based presentation will provide clinical information for primary care providers who are caring for women Veterans experiencing-or at risk of experiencing-homelessness.
