by Stephen Frochen, PhD ; Stephanie Taylor, PhD, MPH
Seminar date: 9/19/2024

Description: Complementary and integrative health researchers have not yet coalesced on the number of meditation or yoga sessions it takes to have an effect on various health outcomes. To address this question, we used data from the VA Office of Patient Centered Care’s CIH Therapy Patient Experience Survey, the nation’s largest survey of Veterans’ use of and health outcomes from CIH therapies. The Presenters examined the minimum number of visits Veterans reported having that had an effect on eight of their health and wellness outcomes.
