Description: This seminar will provide an introduction to quantile regression. We will discuss the logic behind quantile regression, some of the advantages of applying this method, and its applications in health services research. Finally, we will work through an example using quantile regression.

Target Audience: Researchers who would like an introduction to econometric methods for observational studies in health services research. Seminar material will assume knowledge of basic probability and statistics and familiarity with linear regression.
