Description: Qualitative data analysis software (QDAS) is a powerful tool that is sometimes under-utilized in qualitative work. This type of software can query large volumes of data, help visualize results, easily link quotes or memos to further analysis, and aide in qualitative analysis and interpretation. The presenters will provide applied examples in the 3 VA-approved QDAS software packages: Nvivo, ATLAS.ti, and MAXQDA. Examples of data exploration, codebook creation, coding, analysis comparisons, and memoeing will be presented.
Intended audience: Any researcher or clinician who is leading or planning to conduct qualitative workâincluding research or quality improvement.
