Burnout in VA Primary Care

Description: Abstract: This presentation will provide an overview of Dr. Apaydin’s research on burnout in VA primary care. Topics will include drivers of burnout among VA primary care providers and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, in Women’s Health Patient-aligned Care Teams (PACT), and in general PACT. Dr. Apaydin will also describe his proposed research to adapt and evaluate burnout reduction interventions in primary care using evidence-based quality improvement (EBQI).

Intended audience: Primary care researchers, frontline providers and staff, and leadership with an interest in reducing burnout.
