Tuning In to Front-line Employees: The VA Primary Care Voice Project

Description: Abstract: In coordination with the Office of Primary Care, the Primary Care Analytics Team is gathering information to better understand the perceptions of employees working in primary care. Recently the Primary Care Analytics Team conducted a series of focus groups to learn how to improve employee voice, and are now building a platform to obtain and process ongoing feedback from front-line employees. This presentation will describe these efforts and share early results about avenues for improving communication between front-line employees and VA leadership. Target audience: Front-line employees and leaders who are interested in learning about the work experiences of front-line employees and enhancing communication between them and VA leadership.
