Description: People living with HIV (PLWH) experience higher rates of comorbid chronic pain conditions compared to the general population. Managing HIV and chronic pain, two stigmatized health conditions, can exacerbate physical and psychological suffering. Dr. Dunne will discuss formative research to optimize an integrative health behavior intervention for pain management. Target Audience: Health professionals and trainees interested in 1) integrative health approaches for stress and pain management, and 2) qualitative methods to engage stakeholders in optimizing integrated behavioral interventions, particularly for management of chronic pain.
