Evaluating the Implementation of VA’s TeleWound Practice Program

Description: The VA’s TeleWound practice program incorporates telehealth into the care of Veterans with wounds and was selected through the VA Shark Tank competition for future national rollout. The evaluation activities conducted by our PEI are intended to inform the Program’s broader rollout. In this Cyberseminar, we will present our planned and ongoing evaluation of the program, including preliminary findings regarding implementation, utilization of the program, and Veteran perceptions of the TeleWound program.
Objectives
1. Provide a history of the TeleWound practice program.
2. Describe our planed and ongoing evaluation of the TeleWound practice program in VISN15.
3. Share preliminary findings regarding implementation, program utilization, and Veteran perceptions of the TeleWound program.
4. Discuss our ongoing efforts to develop a toolkit to facilitate national roll-out of the TeleWound Practice Program.
