Description: Individuals who have experienced TBI, usually screen normal for vision, but are frequently affected by other visual dysfunctions that can dramatically affect their efficiency in work and educational pursuits. The expected rates of these problems are substantial, leading to the need for increased awareness on the part of both eye-care and non eye-care providers. The spectrum of TBI-associated visual dysfunctions and their management/referral options are discussed. Intended Audience: Providers, especially of eye-care, and rehabilitation specialists who treat TBI patients, clinical researchers with interest in TBI and/or TBI related visual disorders.
