Description: The purpose of this study was to review and describe the current evidence regarding the cost-effectiveness of leg bypass compared to endovascular procedures for this particular subgroup of peripheral artery disease patients. A systematic review of randomized controlled trials and observational studies comparing surgery with endovascular therapy for critical limb ischemia will be discussed.
Intended audience: Surgeons, researchers, and anyone interested in treatments for critical limb ischemia.
