Enhanced Cognitive Rehabilitation to Treat Comorbid TBI and PTSD

Description: This presentation will describe the neuropsychological presentation of treatment seeking Veterans with comorbid PTSD and history of concussion with persistent cognitive complaints. It will address treatment options in this population including a new hybrid approach (SMART-CPT) that combines Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and and components of compensatory cognitive rehabilitation (CogSMART). Intended Audience: Clinicians and investigators interested in the intersection of PTSD, mild TBI, and neuropsychology and/or who wish to learn more about the current evidence regarding treatment of comorbid post-injury co-morbid conditions following mild/concussive brain injury.
