Hatha Yoga for Depression: Current Research, Future Directions, and Practical Advice

Description: This webinar will highlight several studies of yoga for depression. First, data on a completed RCT of yoga vs. health education for persistently depressed adults. Next, some ongoing research including an ongoing, large-scale trial of yoga for pregnant depressed women, and a treatment development study of yoga for depressed adolescents. Finally, some thoughts about next steps in research, closing with some practical advice about what clinicians might tell their current patients about yoga for depression. Intended Audience: Researchers and clinicians who work with adults with depression
