Description: Over one in five women Veterans who use the VA have histories of military sexual trauma (MST). Ensuring delivery of primary care that is sensitive to these and other trauma exposures is therefore critical. This pilot study focused on engaging multiple stakeholders (VA women Veteran patients, providers, staff, and operations partners) in the conceptualization and early development of tools that support primary care-based delivery of trauma-sensitive care in ways that optimize Veterans’ and providers’ experiences. Findings from focus groups with women Veterans, subject matter expert interviews, and Women’s Health Practice-Based Research Network polls will be shared. Intended Audience: Clinicians, researchers, and operations and policy personnel interested in trauma-sensitive care, primary care, and women's health.
