Description: My HealtheVet is an integrated web-based personal health record (PHR) portal that brings together information self-entered by Veterans, data extracts from VA’s electronic medical record, self-management tools, health education materials, and additional features in an effort to complement traditional services, improve care coordination, and empower Veterans and their families to play a more active role in their own healthcare. While the number of Veterans who use My HealtheVet continues to increase, little is known about the impact My HealtheVet use has on healthcare utilization and cost, and the duplication of services and medications between VA and Medicare. Session Objectives • Provide an overview of My HealtheVet data • Examine the association of My HealtheVet use and healthcare utilization and costs • Share lessons learned from partnership experience with the My HealtheVet
