Rural Suicide Prevention: Reviewing the evidence and gaps

Description: This Cyberseminar is intended for suicide prevention researchers and project planners. During his presentation, Dr. Mohatt will: a. Provide an up-to-date review of the evidence on suicide in rural areas, including a social-ecological description of risk and protective factors; b. Describe current prevention efforts and what is known about their effectiveness; and c. Provide recommendations on knowledge gaps related to epidemiology and effective prevention practices for future researchers to address.
